The over-aging of many industrialized countries is particularly noticeable in areas outside large cities. There is a great need for skilled workers here, e.g. in healthcare, trade, industry, and agriculture. This deficiency will only increase in the years to come, making long-term staff recruitment all the more important for rural areas.
Without inward migration from EU countries and third countries, these jobs often cannot be filled. Small and mid-sized companies, in particular, but also regions outside of the large cities, need comprehensive (including socio-political) support in the recruitment and retention of immigrants, who often have their choice among target regions. Standardized, schematic, and, in particular, technology-based selection processes are not sufficient.
While Human Resources focuses on the operational situation, we take a society-wide and sustainability-oriented perspective. With our knowledge-based approach, we complement the services of staff consultants and business development agencies.
For years, we - a team of social, economic, legal, and administrative scientists and practitioners - have dealt with the topics of migration, integration, rural areas, and demographic development. We analyse initial situations and derive local and regionally-specific, but above all practically relevant measures, for the implementation of which we offer support and also offer follow-up support.
